Fred Kessler, left, who is leaving M-A this year, along with Assistant Vice Principal Simone Kennel and Instructional Vice Principal Steve Lippi.

After dedicating five years to Menlo-Atherton’s staff and students, Dean of Students Fred Kessler is leaving. On December 7th Mr. Kessler will be the new Student Activities Coordinator and Dean at Redwood High School. While Mr. Kessler will miss Menlo-Atherton, he says that these five years have been great and he believes that “ the stability of the administration has really benefit the campus.”

Upon reflection, Mr. Kessler feels that “it has been a learning experience for the past five years and I will be thinking of the students and staff when I leave for my new position.” The new Dean of Students has not been disclosed yet but he or she will have big shoes to fill.

We will greatly miss Mr. Kessler and his many contributions to M-A. As a proud Menlo-Atherton Bear, Mr. Kessler expressed that he “will always have fond memories of the maroon and gold.”
