Pride and Prejudice Cast Posted
Students eagerly search the cast list for their names
There was only one thing on many students’ minds as they sat in school yesterday: Did I get a part?
As we all know, the school production of Pride and Prejudice is coming relatively soon to our PAC, bringing in a much larger prospective cast that we have had in previous plays. Junior Brooke Delly, along with the other twenty-five kids there, shared a common thought with us: “I’m excited, but a bit nervous too. I’m just hoping to just get any part, as long as I’m in the play!”
Others, like Kevin Prasad and Chris Chao, are a bit more confident. “There are seven male parts, and just ten guys here,” Chao replied, shrugging. Prasad remains just as laid-back about this, showing no signs of nerves.
Well, all final decisions have at last been made. Here’s a sneak peek at the cast list for the upcoming Pride and Prejudice:

Just to clarify:
The picture and interviews were taken at callbacks, where 33 people were present. The actual number of people who auditioned was closer to 60. We’re all very excited to be doing this show, and that includes those of us whose names may not be on the above list. There is a HUGE amount of tech work required for this show. Just think: costumes, set, lighting, props… the list goes on and on. So while people may have been cut from the cast, they were not cut from the show! We need all the help we can get!
