In the past two weeks, artists have painted a new mural on the I-wing building, overlooking the football field.

The majority of the wall is covered by M-A’s “Strength In Diversity” crest, as well as a smaller, “Coach Parks Field” sign.  On the other side of the building, there is another “Coach Parks Field” sign, where fans buy tickets and enter the stands.

As the football field is the spot most frequently visited by people who do not attend the school, the mural is able to display the main ideas and values of M-A students and staff to the community at large. Putting up a permanent Coach Parks Field sign has also been a goal of the administration since the field was named. Along with the new field, re-done track, and newly constructed I building, the mural helps give the area a more polished look to M-A visitors.

It’s really nice to see a new mural. Hopefully this one won’t get defaced like the last one…And maybe it will help promote school spirit

This mural is simple, yet elegant. Whoever designed and executed it deserves props.

Well done on the mural. The building was looking a little bland before the paint job, and it’s great to see some color! The new facilities are looking swell!

That’s a well done mural. It’s great to see an inspiration for school pride as students walk to the campus.

I love looking at it during soccer practice, a work of beauty.
