Drop by the Menlo Park Library next weekend on Sat. March 2 for the Friends of the Library book sale, with proceeds directly benefiting both the Menlo Park and Belle Haven Libraries.

The book sale will take place outside of the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Prices start at 50 cents for paperbacks and one dollar for hardcovers.

“Art & collectible, biography, children’s, cooking, fiction, history, literature, mystery, religion & philosophy, science fiction,  and young adult books will be included along with a variety of other subjects,”  library worker Michelle Burnham said in an email.

A permanent Friends of the Library bookstore located inside the library also sells books, open during library hours. Donate to the library and go home with new books!

This sounds lovely; unfortunately I have a piano event the same time. I think they are having an informational event about e-books inside the library from 12:00 to 3:00 on the same day, one could go to both!
