Beginning at noon, families and couples, alike, gathered on the grassy hills past Marsh Road to fly their kites. Until 3pm, attendees enjoyed music, facepainting, hot dogs and picnic food made available by the City.

I have so many memories of doing this when I was a little kid. Such a great event!

I always reminisce about doing this when I was little as well! Me and my siblings would see who could get their kite to go the highest- so much fun.
