The  boys’ golf team is coming off an impressive CCS run last year led by seniors Nick Sako and Brian Jordan. This year, the always-potent Bears golf team is lead by three young yet experienced sophomores: Max Culhane, David McNamara, and Travis Anderson, while freshman Matt Tinyo, senior Peyton Smith, and junior Colton Toy fill out the starting roles.

It is an awesome bare-fisted cage fight watching this team play, but quieter and more polite. High school golf is not typically a spectator’s sport, but the tales told of M-A golf are epic this year. “We’re kind of a big deal,” said David McNamara on the team’s success.

The team is 10-1 this year and has only lost one PAL match in the last two years. All of this jubilation and success will most likely lead to yet another CCS berth for the boys golf team – something that is not unusual for the Menlo-Atherton golf team.
