The Girls’ Tennis Team improved to 7-2 overall, 7-1 league, with victories over Hillsdale and San Mateo in week four action.

The team kicked off the second half of their season with a 6-1 win against Hillsdale. The team swept all three doubles matches 6-0 and again 6-0 on their way to an easy victory.

They then faced San Mateo at home, defeating them 6-1 and sweeping the doubles matches.

“We were pretty dominant in our matches because we’ve been building confidence and I think we just need to keep it up for the rest of the season,” ┬ásaid Amelia Tiemann, starting doubles player. Still, she feels “we have to focus on our biggest threat, Carlmont, and work as hard as we can to beat them.”

The team faces Aragon and Mills this week.
