The annual Menlo Atherton High School Fashion Show is just kicking off.  With a theme of “M-Ake Dreams Come True”, it is sure to be a hit. Although the models are seniors, all students are encouraged to engage in the production by coming to one of the three shows.

Coordinator Karen Fryling, states that, “over 210 models signed up, but we are still taking models at this time.”

The models will sport the following stores on the runway: Macy’s,  Alys Grace, Cassis, Leaf & Petal, Gitane, Men’s Warehouse, Nike, North Face, Patrick James,  Captains, Kicks, Active Aggie, Brick Monkey 2,  Nouvelle Bridal, Selix, Helm of Sun Valley, Pickled, Romi, and Fashion Passion.

At last year’s show, a talented student DJ was involved in the production; parent organizers are hoping to bring this back to the show once again. They are also welcoming professional choreographer, Charleston Pierce back to the production from San Francisco. He will be choreographing the dances and training the models in “model 101.”

Besides raising money for the school, the PTA is excited “to allow the seniors the opportunity to probably have one of the fun last hurrahs in high school.”

The PTA encourages all students of all grade levels to “bring your friends, [and] see what it’s all about.” They hope for “everybody [to] get involved.”

From the music to the lighting to stage production to dancers and modeling they want the production to be something for all the students at M-A.

The Menlo Atherton High School Fashion Show is the PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Help M-Ake dreams come true by coming to the production on Saturday, March 21st at the PAC. There will be three productions at: 1:00 P.M., 4:00 P.M., and 7:30 P.M.
