Yesterday, at approximately 2:00PM, Gunn High School went on lockdown after two students reportedly had guns.  This was confirmed when a member of the Menlo-Atherton Bear News staff called Gunn and talked to a frazzled administrator during the lockdown.  The lockdown was lifted when it was discovered that the two kids were merely playing with an air rifle.  No report has been made on what happened to the two students, but the rest of the school and parents appear to be relieved.
